Quilt #5

Last week I gave this quilt to a curious, smiley, determined to keep up, and strong willed 1 year old. At the time it did not have a name. This little lad lives in Vancouver so "Ryan's Rainy Day Raggy" crossed my mind. However in addition to be wordy, this little munchkin has several other blanket that I know he and his older brother can hide from the rain under. Today as I thought more and more about the week that has past (more on that soon) this new name seemed perfect. I have a feeling this blanket is going to be used in a variety of play situations. In may be a superhero cape, the top of a tent, a blanket with bumps to drive cars over, Mom may make him count the squares, big brother may roll him up in it, and Dad might pretend it is a throw net for catching his littlest. Whatever it becomes I hope it will fit into the RUFF and TUMBLE life off a boisterous and beaming little boy. Enjoy Ryan and thanks for visiting.
