This past week was a busy week of preparation. My to do list productivity had a lot to do with:
# 2: Host a party.
This weekend we hosted our annual Halloween party.
This weekend we hosted our annual Halloween party.
17 adults
6 kids
3 toddlers
1 almost teenager
1 babe
and 1 birthday boy.
Since it was A's actual birthday, I used this years party as a reason to put a special spin on the adult's costumes. Instead of family or group costumes everyone came dressed as A. It was awesome, and a lot of fun. Not everyone was able to stay ( or stay awake) but at 1:00 my eldest was still chilling with the neigbourhood ladies. Oh my this boy is a host alright.

# 26. Make a desert.
This year I cut the spooky cupcakes and cute cookies and only made a cake and crisp. I still had TONS of desert left over. This cake turned out pretty well, but in my hot house my webs got soggy fast.
# 17. Make a big pot of chilli. We make 4 huge pots of chilli. This was definitely accomplished.
# 6. Homemade Halloween.
Meet Scooby Doo and the Mystery Gang.
# 12. Dress for the weather.
# 45. Make a scarecrow.
We are proud they turned out great. And yesterday the sun was shining making them look marvellous.
Still lots to do.
Hope there are plenty of soggy leaves under the snow, otherwise we may be getting quite creative with a few of these items. But on a more serious note, we are happy and healthy and safe in our snow wonderland. I hope everyone on the east coast stays save today while Sandie rolls through.
