The last 11 weeks presented our family with a new, sometimes annoying, but fantastic opportunity. Since mid April, A spent each Wednesday and Thursday at home with his boys (he worked in the evening instead) while I went to work. I was always amazed and proud of the things they managed to do together. By 4:00, the house was put together but often showed the results of fun with Daddy. Oh well. It is now officially summer. I am done work for the 2011-2012 school year. We are still figuring lots of things out, but it seems as if days with Daddy are too valuable and too special to give up entirely. Of course this means I am returning to work....mixed feelings on that. For now though, I will not think about it and instead enjoy looking at the iPhone photos I received over the last 11 weeks informing me of what my men were doing.
A massive rarity that J is laying still and is quiet enough to listen to a story. But likely this is a sign of how special their relationship is becoming.

Jill, that's great to hear. I'm sure Andy enjoyed his time alone with the boys. Although Matt and I both work full time, the boys only do daycare 3 days a week. We do creative scheduling too but it's so worth it to both have days alone with the boys (we both do nights to do this). There were lots of cute and funny pictures. I laughed at owen's picture in the ferris wheel!
