Catching up

Tonight is typing and t.v night. It is in fact Thursday night (I am a regular Grey's and Private Practice watcher). Despite having several days at home (O has been battling a yucky cold- and unfortunately I think J and I are next on the radar) I did not sit down at the computer long enough this week to complete a post from our recent trip. In fact, all I could conquer was downloading a picture a day (remember this fact when I tell you more later about joining Facebook so that I could play on Pininterest).

Below are a few pictures of our afternoon get-a-way to Red Rock Canyon. With our white California RAV we cruised down the inter-state to enjoy this national park. Only 30 minutes from the Vegas strip we were really glad we ventured away from the busy city. In addition to a enjoyable Wynn take out lunch ($$) we had a gorgeous day to enjoy the desert and this unique landscape.

Now.....to the Facebook and Pininterest tid-bit. For YEARS I avoided becoming a Facebooker. I did this for many reasons, personal privacy included, but I also knew that I could easily waste a TON of time being nosey.

However many people have told me that I would really love Pininterest and today the only way I could figure out how to join was to become a Facebooker. I plan/hope to do very little with this new membership. I am certain, curiosity will get the best of me initially, but do not be surprised if I do not respond to your friendship request right away. Conversely, I do hope to learn more about Pininterst and then I will let you know how you can find me.
