Accommodations

A picture peak into our hotel experience.

{Sorry you are going to have to hear about this trip in pieces, early bedtime ( i.e not quitting, blogging, and watching Bachelor till the wee hours) has to be a priority for this much too tired Momma)

Largely because of its location, my/our experience at the Wynn felt very different than my original Vegas experience when staying at MGM. Located at the end of the strip we were, and felt, removed from some of the more interesting characters, personalities, groups, and hoopla. In fact, we never saw the renowned "stripper card men & women" near the hotel. Maybe they simply are not fond of such brands as Rolex, and Cartier, and Alexander McQueen? These stores, which I never even stepped into on the "Wynn promenade" were shall we say.....high end! Frankly I am kind of clueless and would make a fool of myself if I went in. However, many people commented on my lovely new Lulu! Haha.

The restaurants were all very well reviewed. However we were disappointed in the one we did try. My taste buds were disappointed, our wallets hurt and I really did not care that Bartolotta flew their fish in from Italy everyday. What is wrong with fish from the Pacific?

The was our room. It was lovely.

Our initial impression of the view from the 52nd floor. We got in late.
The view at 10 a.m. We were so excited to wake up to this view over the tips of our toes.
