Last week I started my 31 in 31 list. We made a few modifications...just a few.

Wednesday December 1: Get a head start on hostess gifts.
~ We started with holiday cookies
Thursday December 2: Deck the halls.
~NOPE, we made nuts and bolts
Friday December 3: Send a care package.
~ KIND OF, we made another round of cookies for care packages.
Saturday December 4: Open house.
~We OPENED the door to our house, finished Christmas shopping and went to the playground in snow-pants. O went on his first sled ride. Thanks little girl at the playground for sharing.
Sunday December 5: Winter hike.
~ OR Birthday party in High River.
Monday December 6: Dinner by the fireplace.
~ How about go to IKEA and get a tree.
Tuesday December 7: Make teacher gifts.
~ NOT TODAY...Double duty work day, and tired little boy.
Here are some ideas for this week:
This is a combo of my ideas and Cooking Light....afterall let's be honest we are not going on a Caroling super.
Wednesday December 8: Home time family night.
Decorate the tree, snuggle in the dark by the tree, wrap presents to send to Ontario, and watch Modern Family on the couch.
~ This is what we did!
Thursday December 9: Second try at dinner by the fire.
Put kids to bed, tidy house, and eat a yummy dinner or late night take out.
Friday December 10: Pictures with Santa
Take the kid(s) to meet the North Pole's visiting dignitary. A frozen treat makes the evening even more enjoyable.
Saturday December 11: Night at home
Wrapping and PVR catch up
Sunday December 12: Fun brunch
Make hot scores, and make sure you have jam.
Monday December 13: Christmas story night
Share the pleasure of a favourite holiday book. A fresh batch of squares makes the experience all the sweeter.
Tuesday December 14: Address cards ( hopefully they will arrive by today)
A hot spiked coffee drink that both stimulates and soothes will help you get through this annual task.
Happy week 2....time is flying
