Close to a year ago I attempted my first rag quilt. The little monkey I made it for is turning 1 is a few weeks. WOW!
I was excited how this quilt turned out, yet I only wished I had made it bigger, made it gender specific, and
done a better job ragging the quilt.

I have set a goal for myself. I am going to make two quilts between now and April. If a boy pops out of this belly then he will get a quilt similar to the one just below. If a girl pops out I am planning on something pretty gentle similar to the second swatch pattern.
I am currently struggling with finding flannel. To compound this challenge I am trying not to break the bank buying all the fabric at the expensive store.
I am quite in love with these fabrics I hope I can similar patterns.
I am starting with the pink quilt, as our life is already filled with blue.
