Slow and steady

Hi my name is Flo. I live in Radiator Springs. In Radiator Springs we do things at our own speed.

I like Flo (especially because she is my newest car) and it seems my Mom has adopted her slow and steady pace. The absolutely crappy weather did not help our motivation levels or desire to get things around the house done. However slowly but surely a few things have got ticked off the list in the last week and a half.

We celebrated my 2 1/2 year milestone with a trip to Dairy Queen on a 2 degree day. Somehow that just does not seem right.

We continue to think about hanging pictures, buying a couch, putting away odds and ends. When you have hair like this, I always look very serious when I am pondering. I look like a little Albert E and it is amazing to Mom how many people comment on my wild curls.

With all Mom's thinking and pondering we have had to climb up and down the stairs a lot. Mom keeps changing her mind where she wants to put things.

Last week, we ignored the cold and tried a few new area playgrounds. Too bad Mom put a hat on me that made it very difficult to see.

In the new house there is lots of room for racing cars. I just have to be careful not to bang my cars into the baseboards. Really I am supposed to keep my cars on the play mat. Hmmm, I guess when Mom is taking a picture the rules don't apply. P.S. If anyone is looking for fun and fast cars, these new Disney cars we got are big and really can go.

Daddy hung a board for me in the pantry. Now I can play with my magnets again. All our new appliances are nice but they sure are not kid friendly.

While the weather was bad Mom and I also got some real and pretend baking done. I love my new cupcakes from Indigo. We also found a new mini muffin tin. Walmart had all Wilton bake ware 50% off.

Yesterday the SUN finally came out. To celebrate the first day of sun in our new house we went to two different playgrounds.

And now it is the weekend. Daddy will be home soon. The sunshine is supposed to last all weekend. We hope to drive around to see some fall colours and maybe try the corn maze just outside of the city. Ciao. Talk soon.
