Tid Bits

Over the course of the last few weeks I have tried several times to write a simple and quick entry, but each time I sit down to write I seem to have a new problem: too tired, too wordy, not making sense, nobody will want to read this, where do I start, I don't want to complain, etc. But tonight instead of venting about just one thing I am going to give you some of the tid bits on my brain.

~I am very excited about the new season of the Bachelorette. Quite excited to see the travel dates. Portugal appears to be on the list of destinations. I think our Rated X Canadian makes it kind of far?? After one show, I think I am rooting for the crazy guy with the glasses.

~I finished treatment with my kindergarteners today. It took me all of 5 minutes to start tearing apart my treatment bag, begin throwing things out, and pack things up into my car so I may drop it all off at the office for the summer. Good bye MM treatment bag.

~Every weekend till July 3rd is filled with wedding to do lists. This MOH has some events to plan.

~I am contemplating life as a brunette this summer. It will be my first...am I going to like it? I keep looking at Blonde Jill pictures...hmmm? I am currently growing my hair maybe this will be enough?

~Superstore has some really cute dresses right now. I buy so many clothes at Superstore...is this good shopping or am I a penny pincher?

~I will never shop for scrapbook materials at Michael's again ( well I am going to try not to). I was at Walmart the other day and so many things were there, and for SO MUCH CHEEPER.

~We booked a cottage on a lake in Nova Scotia this summer with friends Cara and Matt. Definitely something to look forward to right now. NS crew I hope you can come visit us. Ahh summer, I am so ready for you. Too bad it is supposed to dump rain tomorrow. I need some colour. I look like a ghost.

~I am dying to quilt again....frankly I am craving a project that is not report writing or keeping a house tidy ( although I am becoming quite addicted to de-cluttering).

Hope everyone is well. I will return again soon with some more random thoughts. Till next time......let me know how you are, leave a comment...pretty please. I need something to check while I am taking a "break" from reports.

  1. Alright my report writing friend, I'm going to leave you a novel for a comment to give you something to read....

    1. Sounds like we're rooting for the same guy. I really like the guy with the glasses too. During a commercial I asked Chris to pretend I was the Bachelorette and how he would introduce himself to me. Remind me to show you next time I see you - hilarious!

    2. Hooray for being done treatment and hopefully our weather warms up for you so you can report write on the deck next week with a glass of lemonade :)

    3. I'm happy to be a sounding board for event planning details. You're going to be a great MOH - you've got such an eye for detail!

    4. I am giving my hair 2 more weeks to grow and then something has to change. I too am feeling the need for some lightening. We'll see what I decide on. I meant to tell you on the weekend that I really liked the colour of your hair right now. You could just do some lighter highlights if you feel the need to be a little more blonde. Or heck, use some "sun in"

    5. I am still in desperate need of some new clothes. So far I've bought a pair of jeans and a couple of skirts. Think I will check out Superstore tomorrow.

    6. I like how inexpensive Walmart is, but honestly, going in there gives me heart palpitations. There always seems to be crazy long lines when I'm there. Ranks right up there with attempting Costco alone right now - terrifying!

    7. FUN!

    8. Funny you mention this - I picked up some fabric on Tuesday. :)
