A Mommy's Love

Proud Mommy.
These are the things I will tell O as I celebrate my 3rd Mother's Day tomorrow. (WOW)

I love your determination. No matter how many times I tell you that you have to wait 12 more years to drive the car you still ask, and then ask again just in case, "I drive car?"

I love your creativity: Yesterday you tried to give yourself stamps on your feet ( just like at gymnastics) using your alphabet blocks.

I love your passion: You study and observe each and every detail on your Thomas trains. Without a doubt you know the names of the Thomas trains better than I. This is why we were so excited about today.
I love your musicality. Most afternoons you put on a 30 min-1 hour concert from your bed featuring your most favourite iPod songs intermingled with The Wheels on the Bus, Row Row Your Boat, and Merry Had a Little Lamb. Usually the ABC's get a song all to themselves.

I love your compassion. You always ask me how I am " Mommy you okay?", you bless my sneezes, " Bless you Mommy" and ever since having a bad headache last week , you frequently rub my head and ask me " Mommy all better?"

I love your need for a snuggle. Most nights before you get into bed you ask me "Mommy snuggle". This melts my heart and I would never turn down a chance for a snuggle with my little boy. You have made me soft these last few months.

I love your little engineer skills. You are so inventive and creative when building tracks on our family room floor. Your trains know no limits and your track-laying skills will surely inspire someone.

I love new broadcasting skills. " Mommy I awake" ( Really because I thought surely you were asleep while screaming the abc's. in bed.

I love how you clean. Yesterday you decided to clean Thomas' wheels using the drape ties, and you are relentless with the vacuum in the corners. There is no doubt you are watching what we do.

I love how you celebrate YOU. After you finish singing the ABC's you always clap for yourself. After you pee on the potty you do a happy dance and cheer.

It is crazy how happy, healthy, and whole you make me.

Thank you for making me a Mom!

Happy Mother's Day everyone!
Hope you all have a great day!
Cheers to us and our Moms.
