So many sights to see

"The view from the summit of your birthday is awesome! So much yet to do, so many sights to see, spread before you like paths through an everygreen valley. What joy to be given another happy return on the day of your birth. Make each day count, each choice creative. At the turnstile of the new year, excited and ready, the candles on your cake beckon light forward to the party you call life."

Another blessing from my book. Blogging this way is too easy. However, it is better than finishing a few blogs left wordless and incomplete from last week.

Up early cooking muffins. Trying to be quiet. Yesterday was a quiet day spent running a few errands and being quiet at home. Today will be a little more lively. We have a play date, and have not had one in a long time. Track time with Thomas, workers at the workbench, cooks in the kitchen, and tea time. Sounds like a great start to the day!

Thanks for all the best wishes, friends and family. It TRULY meant a lot!

  1. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! You don't know how hard I tried to call you on your actual day - I won't give you any excuses other than saying that my children were a little too demanding on Thursday...I am very sorry. I hope you had a nice day and that Andy got you something fabulous! Love Mandy

  2. Same from me Jill - Happy belated!!! For a change I actually bought you a card in time to get it to you with out being 'belated'...BUT, Jeff showed up for Marla's birthday supper without a card for her, so he took the one I had gotten for you. I fully intended to get out and re-buy it, and didn't...I'm sorry!!!! I hope you had a great day & enjoyed some tasty cake with your boys :) Hope to catch up again soon. Love your ex-roomie across the hall (the one in the closet-sized room) :)
