1. I brought a potty into our house today. Ever since it entered the door, my little man has been wanting to sit on it, play with it, open and close the lid on it, and flush (fake) it. Since it seems to be a toy, and I don't think O really know when he pees...did I introduce it to early? Should I put it away till he knows that he pees in his diaper?
2. What bumps and bruises should be seen by a doctor? When there is a bruise, when the fall is from a high height, when it is down a few stairs, etc. You get my picture. We were at Chapters yesterday and the Melissa and Doug's kitchen set fell on O. The way the other parents looked at me, it was like I should be running to the hospital...but we were fine a loud cry and then O wanted back at it. Frankly he was pissed that he missed out on 10 seconds of play time.
3. Do you buy underwear for your husband at Christmas. One would think it would be easy and cheep to buy underwear for a boy/man. NOPE. Today the S and XL underwear were on sale, the M and L were regular price. Are you kidding me.
4. Do you eat better or worse, when you are alone. I answer my question by saying I am sitting in front of Grey's Anatomy eating a large bowl of frozen yogurt. I put a few sprinkles on it too.
5. If you could buy something new for your house what would it be.? Today after spending sometime at Crate and Barrel I got really excited about a new couch and a rug. There are lots of options, now I just have to find a way to pay for them.

1. I had a potty in our powder room for quite some time before A was ready to use it. I don't think it's a bad idea to familiarize with it (but that's just my opinion).
ReplyDelete2. I'd have done the same as you - I figure there has to be significant amts of blood, a bone broken or the potential for a solid concussion before I'm willing to sit in a doctor's office to be told it's a bump and a bruise. Again. That's my opinion.
3. Ok that's just not fair. Seriously? M & L regular price - come on!
4. Chris is at the hockey game tonight. I just polished off copious amounts of turtles. Like we're talking at least 10. Rah Rah Rah :)
5. This one's easy for me - a new built in corner desk. But I'm also working on getting Chris to let me order A's big girl furniture from Pottery Barn Kids. I have my work cut out for me!

ReplyDelete2. Pretty sure you are so in tune with your child that a doctor's visit was not warranted. Shoot me before I go and sit in a waiting room with a toddler for three hours...although after that he probably would need a doctor!! haha
3. That is like Gap's policy to put all colors except black and white on sale...arggghhh!!!
4. Definitely worse when I am alone, I am eating cuz I have to not because I am proud to feed my family a healthy meal...popcorn for supper anyone?!!
5. Something new for my house would be to finish the basement off with new furniture!! Oh and Taylor needs a big-boy bed..
