On to new horizons

It is almost time for me to rest my sweet but often annoying bernadette for a little ( hopefully not long) while and return to the lessons and commitments of nursing, snuggling, monitor watching, diaper changing, rocking, and sweet tender cuddling. As I prepare to bring another little one into our home I have to look back and be proud of the projects I completed these last few months. ( I promise pictures as soon as I learn to take good ones). And no matter how crazy life gets I am excited and determined to set aside a little bit of time for me and dream of quilting projects on the horizon. This string quilt just makes me happy looking at it. I hope that it is something that me ( and anybody else who wants to join) and my bento buddy can plug away at over the next several months. And when I am awake walking the hall at 3 a.m. I will close my eyes and remind myself that soon both this quilt and I will lay down on my big and comfy bed.
