It is the weekend

Well it is the weekend for Me. YEAH! But before I start another edition of Jill's Thursday-Sunday to do's I thought I would share a little bit with you about the exciting, a little bit chilly, family weekend that just passed.

One of us scooped tickets to the Heritage Classic.
The fans, the score, the venue, and these seat cushions helped to keep spirits high as hands and feet began to tingle with numbness.
On Monday, we poured into our layers, put on our heritage hats and happily sat with twenty thousand other spectators to watch the first ever outdoor WHL game. We enjoyed a bag of popcorn, homemade scones, and dried fruit while staying quite warm snuggled up in blankets. O even fell asleep in the 3rd period. It was a great, super smooth ( well almost flawless- our first intermission pee break saw pee go up instead of down---opps that was Mommy's fault) day. And for O, possibly better than the "good old hockey game" and wearing " a hockey game shirt" was riding the C-train to and from the game. The entertaining commentary about shunting and switching rails surely added some sunshine to other passengers crammed onto the train. I am fairly certain he would like to take the train everywhere now. Look out in May Thomas, my little boy is heading your way.
Have a great weekend! Good luck with your to do list, my BIG TO DO's are slowly getting done, however there are always so many little projects to start and finish.
