It started today. Well, actually I started "it" late today..... but I did start "it". "It" is my holiday preparations. I made myself a promise this year that I would enjoy the preparations required to get ready for the holiday season. In years passed "it" all gets done, but I have found myself rushing, scrambling, and panicking. This year I am excited to decorate my new house, wrap presents, put the tree up with my toddler and husband, bake, find a few new things for my Christmas Eve dinner, prep my Christmas table, see Zoo lights, go skating, march through the snow, read Christmas stories, and sit in-front of the fire with my big belly drinking hot chocolate. In order to enjoy the above I have to get my shopping done. This means patience at the mall, persistence at the grocery store, creativity, forward thinking, and a lot of decision making. I am giving myself till the first week of December. Wish me luck--I am hopeful! It is all about prioritizing right?
