Where did the time go

Somehow the dawning of this new day meant that it was time for me to return to work. What? Summer time is over? We did not have a summer. We did not have two or three solid days of nice weather. Where did 10 weeks go? ( Well I know where they went but) How could it already be time to return to two days away from my little man and other summer time perks.

On the bright side I had no traffic coming home tonight, it was a beautiful 27 degrees and O wanted nothing more than to waste away the early evening hours at the water park with his Mommy ( Daddy was asked to come too..hehe). He even insisted that I squeeze in Nana and Grandad's tub with him tonight for a bath. How could I resist "swimming" in the tub with my two year old. I hope this vision does not disturb you and instead makes you laugh. This and other similar scenes are the shear joys of mothering in my hood. AND I am sure these simple and silly moments will grow as boxes once again begin to crowd our mind and home next week. Stay tuned for more stories from me in loony unpacking land. Till next week....
