It has been a day filled with emotions, a wide scope of emotions, in fact. Sadness for sure is at the forefront, but as I sit here thinking and reflecting I also am feeling THANKFUL. This feeling is why I am writing tonight. I need to say thank-you to all my fantastic friends, I need to say I love you to all my tremendous family. I am so fortunate to have so many loving and giving people in my/our life. Sadly, it takes a day like today for me to reflect this deeply. So as our brother-in law/uncle finds a new place in heaven to rest tonight, I promise to hug and kiss my boys 1000 times before they fall asleep. Tonight I will also pray for understanding, strength, and guidance for our A's sister. I too could use a little guidance in helping support two little angles who don't understand what has happened to their Dad today. Right now though I think they are stronger than all the adults....the beauty of childhood innocence.
HUGS FOR EVERYONE! We will be there for the real thing on Sunday and hope to hug as many friends and family as possible.
P.S. Maybe give an extra hug to some-one you love tonight-just because you can.
